Signature Aviation, the world’s largest FBO chain, has been named one of the nation’s “Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” in 2025 by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR).
According to a media release from Signature, this is the third year in a row the NABR has honored the company with the award.
Signature said the recognition is bestowed on organizations that demonstrate innovative human resources practices. An independent research firm assesses each company using several team member-focused categories, ranging from benefits and compensation to workplace culture.

Signature received high marks from the NABR for employee enrichment, engagement, and retention, along with creative wellness and well-being solutions, employee achievement and recognition, leadership, strategy, and company performance, communications and shared vision, civility and inclusion, compensation, benefits, and employee solutions, and employee education and development.
“Being recognized as one of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For reflects our commitment to all of our 6,000-plus team members around the world,” said Tony Lefebvre, CEO of Signature. “We strive to be a workplace where team members feel seen, supported, and encouraged to grow every day. It’s a testament to our culture.”
Signature Aviation, based in Orlando, Florida, traces its roots back to an industrial belting works in Scotland that was established in 1879, some 24 years before the Wright brothers made their first flight at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
In the early years the company developed products that supported industrial machines. By the 1920s the precursor of Signature was a supplier of several companies in the auto manufacturing industry, including British Belting & Asbestos (BBA) Group, which was also active in the aviation sector.
World War II marked the company’s entry into the world of aviation, as it produced materials supporting British military aircraft such as the Supermarine Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane.
After the war the BBA Group continued to grow, acquiring other aviation businesses and assets, which led to the creation of Signature Flight Support in 1992.
