David St. George, Executive Director of the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE), has announced his retirement.
St. George was a long-standing and foundational member of SAFE, serving as chairman of the board in 2015 before becoming executive director in 2018.
Under his leadership, SAFE experienced exponential growth, increasing to over 8,000 members and becoming a significant force in aviation education and safety.
The SAFE board thanked St. George for his dedicated service and is currently working on a transition plan to appoint a new executive director.
