Excitement is building for this weekend’s Flying Aviation Expo in Palm Springs, California, as thousands of pilots and aviation enthusiasts make plans to descend on the Coachella Valley for the show October 31 to November 2.
There will be plenty to do and see at Expo 2014. The festivities kick off at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, with the highly anticipated Parade of Planes through the streets of Palm Springs. Led by Flying Editor-in-Chief Robert Goyer taxiing his Cirrus SR22 from Palm Springs International Airport to the Palm Springs Convention Center, more than 80 airplanes are expected to participate in the one-of-a-kind spectacle.
