Oxford, Mississippi-based private aviation company Nicholas Air launched its Steel Pilot Training Program on Monday.

The new program is designed to temper aviators into disciplined professionals in both private aviation pilot and Part 135 pilot sectors, according to a Nicholas Air news release. It is available for those aspiring toward pilot in command (PIC) and second in command (SIC) roles.

“The program provides access to structured mentorship, leadership refinement, scenario-based learning, and ongoing educational resources to serve as a modern foundry for developing aviation talent, emphasizing technical mastery, decision making under pressure, and an unmatched commitment to safety,” the release stated.

The Steel Pilot Training Program’s curriculum was created by top pilots at Nicholas Air who have extensive military, commercial, and private aviation experience.
