Key Takeaways:

  • Swiss manufacturer Sirius Aviation, in collaboration with BMW Designworks, unveiled two hydrogen-powered, zero-emission vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) luxury business jets: the 3-passenger CEO-Jet and the multi-purpose Adventure Jet.
  • These aircraft leverage a hydrogen-electric powertrain, promising significantly longer range (up to 1,000 nm) and higher speeds (280 knots) compared to electric VTOLs, along with ultra-low noise operation.
  • Sirius plans an inaugural flight in 2025, aims for certification and deliveries by 2028, and has already secured initial orders for both models, with a future goal of establishing a global shuttle network.
