Famed US Airways captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger is in the spotlight once again as he prepares to return to the controls and head to Charlotte, North Carolina, this time in a vintage DC-7B.
The Miracle on the Hudson captain and copilot Jeff Skiles will each take turns at the helm of the restored airliner next Friday as it makes its way from Miami for a flight benefiting the Historical Flight Foundation, the organization behind the restoration process.
