Bill Garvey, former Flying editor and current editor-in-chief of Business & Commercial Aviation magazine, received this year’s Dave Ewald Platinum Lifetime Achievement Award for journalism from the NBAA. His op-ed piece in the Jan. 31 issue of The New York Times defended business aviation.
