A recent offering from American Legend Aircraft combines the classic simplicity of the Cub design with the most modern of portable multifunction displays. The Legend "Smart" Cub is available with a panel-mounted Garmin GPSMap 696 providing large-screen navigation as well as weather, terrain avoidance and a host of other features that would boggle the minds of Cub pilots of yore. The Smart Cub also comes equipped with digital engine instrumentation and sells for approximately $113,000. Buyers of more spartan-equipped Legend Cubs can take advantage of special Sun 'n Fun pricing this week only. The ready-to-fly basic Legend Cub is available at a show-special price of $99,895.
