PistonPower to provide predictable maintenance costs for an hourly fee.

Kerrville, Texas-based Mooney Aircraft announced at Sun ‘n Fun in Lakeland, Florida, that is expanding its Mooney Factory Service Centers and customer support offerings. The company is working on an hourly cost program for engine service for the two models it currently produces: the Ovation Ultra and Acclaim Ultra. The warranty on the airframe, engine and avionics is covered for three years and 1,000 hours.

Mooney is also helping its customers commit to training by offering a full transition course, with ground, simulator and in-aircraft instruction. Additionally, Mooney provides a $10,000 training voucher for new customers to use on training such as a new rating, endorsement or other desired training.
