King Schools, led by John and Martha King, continues its long-standing tradition of supporting pilots through its scholarship program, having awarded 21 scholarships over the past decade.
The latest recipients, Thomas Sando (National Association of Flight Instructors) and Jodie Gawthrop (Women in Aviation International), were announced at EAA AirVenture, each receiving lifetime access to King Schools' course library and $5,000 cash, valued at over $20,000.
Applications are currently open for upcoming scholarships, including the WAI Martha King Scholarship (deadline Sept 1) and the King Schools NAFI Scholarship (deadline Jan 6), for pilots holding at least a commercial certificate with an instrument rating or an existing CFI certificate.
John and Martha King have been teaching the world to fly for more than 50 years. Over the past decade, King Schools has been actively supporting deserving pilots through its scholarship program.
To date, some 21 scholarships have been awarded, and the latest recipients were announced on Thursday at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
