Gulfstream’s G500 and G600 have received certification for steep approach landing from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), expanding the number of airports where the business jets can operate.

As part of the certification process, the aircraft successfully demonstrated steep approach capabilities with low-speed handling and short-field landings at London City Airport (EGLC) in the U.K. and Lugano Airport (LSZA) in Switzerland, company officials said Monday.
