Do pilots work 5 days a week?

Pilots generally do not work traditional hours or even traditional Monday through Friday schedules. Most pilots work an average of 15 days per month with 2-3 days off each week, though what days of the week those fall on can vary. 

What would disqualify you from being a pilot?

You’ll need to be at least 18 years old to be a pilot. You also must be fluent in English to serve as a pilot in the US. Additionally, if you have a heart condition, epilepsy, diabetes or serious mental health ailments, you won’t be able to serve as a pilot. If you have a criminal record, you’ll be excluded from being a pilot.
