The Finnish Aviation Academy has announced it is upgrading its training fleet with 10n Tecnam P2010TDIs.
The school, owned by the Finland government, is the largest flight academy in the country. It trains 80 to 100 professional pilots a year.
The Tecnam aircraft will be added to the fleet to modernize the training opportunities with more capable and environmentally conscious aircraft.
“These will be the first 10 Tecnam aircraft in our fleet, and they will replace our legacy four-seat aircraft,” said Ari Tolonen, managing director of the Finnish Aviation Academy.
“We are honored by the trust placed in us by the Finnish Aviation Academy,” said Walter Da Costa, Tecnam chief sales officer. “This order further strengthens our commitment to supporting the next generation of pilots with safe, sustainable, and state-of-the-art training aircraft.”
About the Aircraft
The Tecnam P2010TDI features a Continental CD-170 engine and MT-Propeller. The cockpit contains a state-of-the-art Garmin suite.
