Epic Flight Academy Graduates First Group of Air Force Pilots

Following a successful inaugural cohort in Florida, the flight school is transitioning its military training operations to its campus in Texas.

Epic Flight Academy has graduated its first group of U.S. Air Force pilots who completed Initial Pilot Training (IPT) at its New Smyrna Beach, Florida, campus. The officers trained under an Educational Service Agreement (ESA) with the Air Force to earn their private pilot certificate, instrument rating, and private pilot multi-engine add-on in 139 days or less.

According to Epic Flight Academy (EFA), following the successful completion of the inaugural cohort in New Smyrna Beach, training operations have transitioned to its Denison, Texas, campus. According to EFA, after completion of IPT, these officers will continue Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) flying the T-6A Texan II. The move puts the pilots in closer proximity to the next phase of Air Force flight training.
