Cirrus has relaunched its Cirrus Approach pilot training app, now featuring augmented reality (AR) technology to enhance learning for pre-flight procedures and safety checks.
The app offers mobile access to over 50 diverse training courses, ranging from ab initio to advanced, utilizing videos, interactive modules, documents, and quizzes.
It integrates with Cirrus's in-house Private Pilot Program, providing immersive ground school training to help students earn their pilot's license in a Cirrus aircraft with instructor support.
Earlier this month, Cirrus announced a relaunch of its Cirrus Approach pilot training app, which offers mobile access to training courses from ab initio startup flying to advanced coursework, as well as flight instruction tools for iPads. The app also helps instructors track student progress.
The newly relaunched app includes augmented reality (AR) technology.
