This 10-15 minute broadcast provides a national weather overview tailored for general aviation pilots across the contiguous U.S. and southern Canada, reminiscent of a previous PBS program.
Hosted by Dr. Scott Dennstaedt, a former NWS meteorologist and pilot, the program aims to fulfill a recognized need within the aviation community.
Each broadcast is recorded for on-demand viewing, but it is strictly for educational and entertainment purposes and not a substitute for formal weather briefings.

Avwxworkshops Inc. announced Monday the launch of its “Daily EZ Weather Brief” livestream broadcast. It’s broadcast live each weekday morning on YouTube.

The EZ Weather Brief broadcast was designed to provide a national level general aviation-targeted weather overview, similar to the one that aired on PBS member stations that ran from 1978 to 1995. The goal of the program is to provide pilots with a short 10- to 15-minute report on the day’s aviation weather impacts across the contiguous U.S. and parts of southern Canada.
