Gateway Technical College

Located in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Gateway Technical College offers an associate degree program targeted at students who want to pursue a career as an airline pilot.

Program Highlights

Gateway hosts an FAA-approved Part 141 pilot school to provide ground and pilot training. Flight training occurs at the Kenosha Regional Airport (KENW). Horizon Center located on the airfield will also be where academic classes are held.

    • Aeronautics-Professional Pilot

Value

Gateway Technical College’s base tuition is average for a technical school. Both in- and out-of-state students will pay about $6,000 a year. This is base tuition and does not include flight expenses.

Flight students will benefit from affordable flight costs. Over the course of two years and up to getting a certified flight instructor rating, students will pay about $50,000.

Fleet and Facilities

Gateway hosts a fleet of traditional training aircraft, including:

● Cessna 172s
● Piper Seminoles

Graduates will be eligible for a R-ATP.
