Clover Park Technical College

Located in Puyallup, Washington, Clover Park Technical College offers three associate aviation programs and one bachelor’s degree path. The school has been training pilots since shortly after World War II.

Program Highlights

Clover Park Technical College is an FAA-approved Part 141 pilot school and flight operations are conducted at the Pierce County (KPLU) Airport, right next door to the campus proper.

Programs offered include:

    • Aviation Maintenance Technician
    • Avionics Technician
    • Professional Pilot
  • Bachelor of Applied Science
    • Operations Management

While the school offers a complete professional pilot program, students can take each flight level individually from a degree plan.

Value

Students can expect to pay a base tuition of $5,000. Depending on their living situation, additional fees fmay increase total yearly cost to $12,000-18,000.

On top of tuition, flight students will have additional costs for flight courses. Over the course of two years students will need up to an additional $57,000-76,000 to complete all the flight courses the school has to offer.

Students can apply for scholarships to help with the cost, including the:

Eligible students at Clover Park Technical College are able to use veteran’s benefits for aviation programs.

Fleet and Facilities

Clover Park Technical College has a traditional fleet of training aircraft that includes:

● Cessna C172s
● Tecnam P2006Ts

Graduates are eligible for the restricted ATP.
