AirVenture Oshkosh 2004, themed "Launching the Next Century of Flight," focuses on the future of aviation, particularly highlighting the anticipated FAA Sport Pilot/Light Sport Aircraft Rule.
The event features over 500 forums and workshops, 700+ exhibitors, various airshow performers, and a planned attempt to break the piston aircraft altitude record.
A diverse range of aircraft will be on display, including historical warbirds, Russian transports, and modern designs like a U.S. Army unmanned aerial vehicle and a Harrier Jet.
