Garmin last week received an FAA supplemental type certification (STC) for installation of the GFC 500 autopilot on select Beechcraft Bonanza and Debonair aircraft including models 33, A33, B33, C33, C33A, E33, E33A, E33C. Some F33, F33C and G33 serial numbers are however, excluded from the approval list. Garmin said it’s working on a GFC 500 STC for the F33A Bonanza and expects certification in the coming months.
