The National Business Aviation Association will for the first time host Build A Plane’s Teachers’ Day at the upcoming annual Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition, set to take place in Las Vegas October 22 through 24. The Teachers’ Day will be incorporated into the Careers in Business Aviation Day, sponsored by Honeywell, on October 24.

The Build A Plane Teachers’ Day is geared toward high school teachers and uses aviation as a platform to teach science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) subjects. “Today’s students respond to real-world applications, and aviation really captures their attention,” said Lyn Freeman, president and founder of Build A Plane.
