The NTSB has released a preliminary report on the Kansas City Air Show crash that killed pilot Bryan Jensen, based on a review of video footage.
The report indicates that after recovering from an inverted spin, Jensen's biplane pitched up, abruptly rolled left, dropped its nose, and then descended to impact the ground.
Bryan Jensen was a veteran aerobatic pilot with 15 years of experience and also a Delta 747 captain, flying a modified Pitts Model 12 biplane known as "the Beast."
