Key Takeaways:

Jeppesen ForeFlight has launched its AI-powered "Airflow" aviation operating intelligence solution, introducing three initial AI agents—"trip trading," "target mastery," and "augmented ops control"—to optimize crew management, flight planning, and disruption recovery for commercial aviation.
The platform is designed to provide trustworthy "aviation intelligence" by using certified data, embedding human decision-making and oversight, and adhering to an AI-Safety Management System.
This release is part of a wider industry movement where numerous companies and government bodies, including the FAA, are integrating AI to enhance various aspects of flight operations and management.

Jeppesen ForeFlight on Monday unveiled three AI agents within its Airflow “aviation operating intelligence” solution, the first of hundreds it plans to introduce on the platform, which was unveiled in July. The company contrasted generic AI systems—which it said sound confident but are often wrong—with what it bills as a more trustworthy “aviation intelligence” that uses a working model of the ecosystem the agent is analyzing.
