NetJets, the world’s largest operator of private jets by fleet size and flight hours, is looking to build a new private terminal near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (KAUS) in Texas, according to a public filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The Austin Business Journal was first to report on the filing, which says that construction of an 8,000-square-foot private terminal could begin as soon as January 2027 and be complete by June 2028. The project, called “Signature Aviation Terminal Project for Netjets,” also includes 106,000 square feet of airside ramp space and a parking lot. It would be located at 2500E State Highway 71 down the road from Austin-Bergstrom, which is one of the nation’s busiest private jet airports.
