Nineteen-year-old Troy Jenkins was forced to take control of a Cessna 150 over Forbes, Australia, after the 61-year-old pilot lost consciousness.
Jenkins maintained the plane for 45 minutes, receiving emergency radio instructions and in-person guidance from another pilot, Paul Reynolds, who flew alongside him.
Despite only having landed once before with supervision, Jenkins successfully kept the aircraft steady at 2,000 feet.
