The FAA announced Tuesday that it is awarding 339 grants totaling $870 million to airports in 44 U.S. states and territories.

The funding comes from the fifth and final $2.89 billion installment of the agency’s $14.5 billion Airport Infrastructure Grants (AIG) program, established in 2022 by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Fiscal year 2026 (FY26) marks the conclusion of the AIG program. Tuesday’s announcement marked the eighth set of airports to receive AIG funds in FY26.
