The Supermarine Spitfire was one of the British Royal Air Force’s most notorious fighters in World War II and has, along with the North American P-51 Mustang, become one of the biggest favorites of warbird enthusiasts. A documentary about the famed warbird was released earlier this year, screened first on July 9 at the Curzon Mayfair in London as part of the RAF centenary celebrations.
