The wreckage of Air France Flight 447 has been located.
The flight data recorder (black box) from AF 447 has been successfully recovered.
Investigators are actively recovering additional wreckage components, such as engines, landing gear, and wing parts, from great depths to aid in determining the cause of the crash.
The team is moving to recover as much wreckage from the site as possible. Given the great depths involved, that won’t be an easy task.
