Lockheed Martin officially debuted Finland's first F-35A fighter jet at a ceremony in Fort Worth, Texas.
Finland has ordered 66 F-35s in total, with the first aircraft slated for delivery in early 2026 to begin pilot training in the U.S.
This F-35 acquisition enhances Finland's defense capabilities, replacing its F/A-18 Hornets, and underscores its recent NATO membership, positioning it to have the largest F-35 fleet in northern Europe.
The aerospace and defense conglomerate staged a rollout ceremony at its F-35 production facility in Fort Worth, Texas, with government officials from Finland and the U.S. in attendance.
