Epic Flight Academy has become the largest FAA-certified Part 141 flight school in the United States, expanding its operations to a total of nine campuses.
The academy recently opened three new Part 141 certified schools in Englewood, Colorado; St. George, Utah; and Tuscaloosa, Alabama, with grand openings slated for June and July.
Part 141 training, which all Epic schools offer, is an FAA-approved program known for providing a faster and more efficient path to pilot certification with fewer required flight hours.
Established in 1999, Epic Flight Academy has trained approximately 7,500 pilots, employs 245 staff members (including 118 flight instructors), and also offers Part 147 aircraft mechanic training.

“It’s quite a milestone, especially considering the fact that we are actively developing additional flight training sites that will also be Part 141 schools,” said Epic founder and CEO Danny Perna.
