Key Takeaways:

  • Paragon Flight Training is significantly expanding its fleet, increasing its projection from 50 to 70 new Piper Pilot 100i aircraft by the end of 2027 to meet growing demand.
  • The company has completely re-fleeted its inventory since 2022 and currently operates a total of 34 aircraft.
  • A primary driver for this growth is the success of its second Florida location in Punta Gorda, which has expanded its fleet from one to eight aircraft since its establishment in 2023.
  • Further expansion includes completing a new maintenance hangar and adding personnel at the Punta Gorda location.

Fort Meyers, Florida-based Paragon Flight Training will add to its fleet of Pipers in the coming year in order to meet growing demand, the company announced.

Paragon Flight has benefitted from a multitude of positive business experiences in 2024 that have further bolstered our confidence in the decision to increase our fleet investments for 2025 and beyond,” said Chris Schoensee, Paragon Flight president and owner. “In 2022, we projected the purchase of 50 new Piper Pilot 100i’s by the end of 2027. We’re now planning on 70 Piper P100i aircraft in that same period. It is an exceptional training platform, and we consider it the gold standard in flight training. We have totally re-fleeted our aircraft inventory since 2022, a stretch goal for us that has now been realized.”
