Firecrown has acquired Kalmbach Media's *Trains* and *Astronomy* media groups, significantly expanding its existing transportation portfolio into the railroad and space sectors.
The acquisition includes numerous print magazines (e.g., *Trains*, *Astronomy*, *Model Railroader*), digital platforms, books, and associated e-commerce stores.
Firecrown plans significant investments to enhance content, including expanding business editorial coverage for rail (leveraging its FreightWaves model) and broadening space exploration content for *Astronomy* (collaborating with its *FLYING* brand).
The company will also integrate and expand the acquired e-commerce operations, merging Kalmbach's MyScienceShop.com with its previously acquired TheSpaceStore.com to create a "space enthusiast superstore."
