Key Takeaways:

Global business and general aviation avionics sales surpassed $2 billion in the first nine months of 2022, marking an 18.3% increase over the previous year and continuing a nine-quarter growth trend.
This significant growth is overwhelmingly driven by record-high forward-fit sales for newly manufactured aircraft, which reached over $407 million in the third quarter, while retrofit sales remained nearly flat.
The surge in forward-fit sales highlights strong demand for new general aviation aircraft, with the U.S. and Canada generating 73.7% of the total sales activity.
