Enstrom Helicopter Corporation, after declaring Chapter 7 bankruptcy, has been purchased by Chuck Surack, founder of Surack Enterprises and Sweetwater Sound.
Surack's goal is to rebuild the Enstrom brand, restoring it as a leading American helicopter manufacturer.
The acquisition brings stability to Enstrom, integrating it into Surack's existing aviation portfolio which includes flight training, charter, and aviation insurance businesses.
Immediate priorities for the new ownership include supporting existing owner-pilots with parts and developing updated helicopter models.
