Joint Base Charleston became home to one of the largest gatherings of Black military aviators last month, and FLYING was there to capture the monumental event. From the arrival of one of the original Tuskegee Airmen, to riding along on a student’s first flight, FLYING witnessed history and inspiration in the making.

In this video, hear comments from the officers who organized the event, and footage of hundreds of students bolstering their interest in aviation.
