The numbers break down into five Private Pilot scholarships of $5,000 each, with three additional $5,000 checks to pilots working on their instrument rating. Two scholarships of $3,000 each will assist pilots with their instructor certificate, with one $5,000 amount given to a pilot at work on their instrument instructor certificate. Four more scholarships worth $3,000 each went to pilots working on their multi-engine rating. Finally, two members were awarded $5,000 each toward their education as aircraft maintenance technicians.
