The small number of pilots training at Morris Air National Guard Base in Tucson will graduate this year, according to a Pentagon spokesperson.

Ukrainian technicians will also be trained for the aircraft’s maintenance in Denmark, Norwegian defense officials said.

Most of the intercepts reported in 2023 were over the Baltic Sea, according to NATO.

The development is a significant step forward from Ukraine’s current Soviet-era capabilities, British Defense Minister Grant Shapps said.
