Sun ‘n Fun, JSfirm.com Announce Plans for 2022 Career Fair

Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo and aviation jobs website JSfirm.com are teaming up once again to host their seventh annual career fair for aviation industry professionals. The fair will take place April 7 through 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lakeland Linder International Airport (KLAL) in Hangar B during the larger event.

“Each year, we look forward to partnering with Sun ‘n Fun to host their annual Career Fair,” said Abbey Hutter, executive director for JSfirm.com. “With more than 33,000 aviation jobs listed, our website and the industry have never been busier—everyone is hiring.” 

More than a dozen companies will be participating, including:

●  PlaneSense

●  Wheels Up

“We are excited to open the doors to a new facility and welcome pre-registered attendees and air show guests alike,” said Richele Floyd, scholarship director for the Aerospace Center for Excellence, on the grounds of the Lakeland airport. “The relationship with JSfirm.com has been paramount to the development and growth of the event and we are projecting to see record numbers this year.”

The aviation industry has been seeing a shortage of not only pilots but also technicians, flight attendants, and dispatchers.

Based in Texas, Ashley is the former Marketing Manager at FLYING and focuses deeply on training and education. She graduated from the Baylor Institute for Air Science with a Bachelor's in Aviation Science and holds an MBA specializing in Marketing. She is an also instrument rated private pilot and licensed FAA dispatcher.
