Located in Logan, Utah, Utah State University offers six aviation pathway programs: Bachelor of Science in Professional Pilot Concentration (fixed-wing or rotary-wing), Bachelor of Science in Maintenance Management, Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management, Master of Science in Aviation Science, and a minor in Unmanned Aerial Systems.

Located in Orem, Utah, Utah Valley University offers three bachelor degree programs and one Associate of Applied Science program within its aviation department. All the programs offered can be done online or in a traditional classroom setting.

Located in Princess Anne, Maryland, the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore is the only four-year aviation program in Maryland. The aviation sciences program it offers has four concentrations. Professional pilot flight and ground training is FAA-approved under Part 141.

Located in Omaha, Nebraska, the University of Nebraska-Omaha offers a bachelor’s degree in aviation with three concentrations to choose from, as well as a minor. The Aviation Institute, in conjunction with the Division of Continuing Studies, offers an Aviation Studies program for non-traditional students with transfer credits or career aviation experience.

Located in Fort Worth, Texas, Tarrant County College offers two aviation associate degree paths and one non-credit program. The school offers both day and night classes.

Located in Houston, Texas, Texas Southern University offers two aviation bachelor’s degree paths, both rooted in management. The school also offers a drone certification program. Located in Waco, Texas, Texas State Technical College offers four associate degree programs. The maintenance programs can be taken on satellite campuses in Abilene or Haringen, Texas. The pilot program can be completed in less than two years. The school has been training pilots in Texas for more than 50 years.
