Sun ‘n Fun 2012 Off to Sunny Start

Spring’s premier air show is underway.

Sun ‘n Fun 2012 has gotten under way at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport in Lakeland, Florida, and despite sunny skies, crowds are still thin. But with good weather expected across most of the United States for the next several days, organizers expect excellent crowds for the remainder of the show.

The show will be a star-studded affair, complete with the world’s only flying B-29, FiFi, with country music star Aaron Tippin appearing Thursday, the Red Tail Squadron presenting its Rise Above presentation, and a wealth of aerobatics performers and raucous warbirds appearing in the daily airshow.
