Patrouille de France Will Perform at Sun ’n Fun during North American Tour

It’s the French Air Force demonstration team’s first stateside appearance in 31 years.

Organizers are already gearing up for the annual event that kicks off the airshow season, and this year they plan to welcome some special guests from abroad.

The French Air Force demonstration team Patrouille de France (PAF) has confirmed it will perform at Sun ’n Fun International Fly-in & Expo 2017. The team will commemorate the United States’ participation in World War II.

It’s the French team’s first appearance in North America in 31 years, according to AVweb. In 1986, the PAF celebrated the 100-year anniversary of the Statue of Liberty with a colorful fly-by in New York City. The PAF is the world’s oldest military demonstration team.
