Music executive and aviation enthusiast Dave Shapiro, 42, died in a private plane crash in San Diego, along with five other people aboard the aircraft.
The crash involved Shapiro's Cessna Citation 550, which struck power lines about two miles southeast of Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport during an attempted landing in heavy fog.
Shapiro was the founder of Sound Talent Group, a prominent music agency, and also owned Velocity Aviation, an aviation company, having over 15 years of flight experience.
