** Christopher Dorner**
As the hunt for fugitive ex-cop Christopher Dorner continues in California, the Transportation Security Administration has released an advisory cautioning that the accused killer might try to use general aviation aircraft to evade capture.
"It is believed that Dorner received flight training during his time in the U.S. Navy, but the extent of his potential flying skills is unknown," the TSA's advisory notes. While there is no specific information that Dorner is considering using aircraft, the TSA is requesting that owners and operators exercise heightened alertness and review TSA security guidelines for GA.
Dorner is accused of killing one police officer and wounding two others, as well as killing the daughter of his police union representative and her fiancé on Sunday, February 3. The search for Dorner has focused on the Big Bear Lake area, where authorities say his burning truck was found last week after he allegedly started carrying out his threats to kill police and their family members.
Dorner last week allegedly tried to steal a boat from a San Diego marina.
