All 19 people aboard a Buddha Air Beech 19000D twin turboprop were killed when the plane crashed near Kathmandu, Nepal.
The aircraft, carrying tourists returning from an Mt. Everest viewing flight, went down while attempting to land at Tribhuvan International Airport in rain and dense fog.
Victims included passengers from India, Nepal, Japan, and two women from Utah (U.S.), along with the Nepalese pilots and flight attendant.
All 19 people aboard a Beech 19000D carrying tourists to see Mt. Everest were killed on Sunday when their twin turboprop crashed as it tried to land in rain and dense fog at Nepal’s main international airport.
The airplane, operated by Buddha Air, crashed in Kotdanda, about 10 miles from the capital, Katmandu, as it was returning to Tribhuvan International Airport.
