At the end of last year the FAA updated the AIM, Pilot Controller Glossary, and the Controller’s Handbook, aka Air Traffic Control (JO 7110.65Y) to Change 3. Check it out at www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/changes_traffic/ publications as the changes could be just emerging in print as you read this. The FAA updates the AIM and Controller’s Handbook in an alternating 5-6 month cycle. The next change will be a complete revision of the AIM and ATC to JO 7110.65Z on June 17, 2021.
