The I Hart Flying Foundation has partnered with Immaculate Flight to launch more than $20,000 worth of flight scholarships and pilot supplies donated for young women to leverage in order to follow their aviation dreams. A social media push for the end of 2020, titled “Seal Your Future,” promotes the efforts of IHFF and reminds us all to use our passions—and mind, body, and soul—to seal the future ahead of us, in spite of adversity in our lives.

Tapping into several industry partners—including Boeing Business Jets, King Schools, Bose Aviation, Dassault Falcon Jet, Phillips 66, Sheltair, ATP (formerly Flightdocs), AOPA, Titan Aviation Fuels, Method Seven, True North Legacy Logbooks, Wing Boss TF, and Jet Support Services—the IHFF has created themed packages for each scholarship winner.

Immaculate Flight is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Brett Logan, president, is proud to partner with the IHFF: “We’re excited to bring the funds forward and help tackle the gender gap in aviation with I Hart Flying,” Logan said in a press release. “Our entire team is beyond amazed at how successful this organization has changed women’s lives in aviation through their scholarship and mentorship programs. Leading this effort, especially in a time of adversity, brings to light the absolute joy of practicing philanthropy, spreading generosity and turning dreams into reality.”

“Addressing the shortage of women in aviation is at our core,” said Rachelle Spector, founder of I Hart Flying, “and we exist to aid women of all ages their dreams are attainable, are valid, are recognized. We hear you! We’re grateful to our partner, Immaculate Flight, for stepping up as we help you ‘Seal Your Future’ in aviation through our biggest scholarship opportunity yet.”

The IHFF celebrated its three-year anniversary in September 2020, having awarded more than a dozen scholarships to female aviators. For more information, visit the IHFF site.
