The idea behind Swiss-made Alphachocks is to provide wheel chocks that can easily be carried inside an airplane for use at remote airports where service is limited. The foldable chocks are made from forged aluminum for strength and lightness. Because they fold flat, they can be stored on the baggage-compartment floor or even inside a flight bag. When ready for use, the chocks open into a triangular shape that locks into place when the handle is pushed into position.
