<p>Vaughn College’s flight students will conduct their training at Vaughn’s contract partner, Heritage Flight Academy. It&#8217;s located at MacArthur Airport (KLSP) on Long Island.</p>

<p>Vaughn College works directly with JetBlue through the JetBlue Pilot Gateway Program. Students can earn a conditional job offer for a position as a first officer at JetBlue. Vaughn also hosts a number of flight simulators for students to utilize.</p>
<p>Vaughn Aviation students can take advantage of many internships offered by Vaughn and their partners, which include:</p>

<li>United Airlines</li>
<li>Textron Aviation</li>
</ul>
<p>Vaughn’s aircraft operations and aeronautical sciences bachelor’s degrees are accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI).</p>
<h4>Value</h4>
<p>Vaughn College’s base tuition is on the higher side for a university of their size. Students will pay about $24,000 a year for base tuition (not including flying expenses). Since the school is located in New York City, this is expected.</p>
<p>Over the course of flight training at Vaughn’s flight partner, Heritage Flight Academy, students will progress through a multiengine instructor. They’ll be billed about $71,000 for the whole program.</p>
<p>Vaughn College offers many institution scholarships for students to take advantage of. The school also accepts outside scholarships, including the:</p>

<li>Robert and Irene Zincone Scholarship</li>
<li>Anne and Vernon Crudge Scholarship</li>
<li>Frederick R. and Mimi Einsidler Scholarship</li>

<p>They also accept veteran’s benefits such as the GI Bill.</p>
<h4>Fleet and Facilities</h4>
<p>Vaughn College owns its own fleet of training aircraft, which includes:</p>

<li>Piper Arrows</li>
<li>Piper Seminoles</li>
</ul>
<p>A $1 million dollar flight simulator lab features a fleet of training devices and provides an exciting learning experience with industry-trained faculty.</p>
<p>Graduates of Vaughn College’s flight program will be eligible for a R-ATP.</p>
<h4>Campus Life</h4>
<p>Vaughn College offers on-campus housing in the heart of Manhattan. Their apartment-style dorms allow for big-city living within a small community.</p>

<p>Located in Flushing, New York, Vaughn College offers three aviation associate degree programs, four bachelor’s programs, and five certificate options. Programs can be completed with flight certificate add-ons or with the goal of becoming a professional pilot. Vaughn College is located near LaGuardia Airport (KLGA), right in the middle of New York City.</p>
