Sinclair has an agreement with MacAir Aviation to provide flight instruction at Greene County-Lewis A. Jackson Regional Airport (I19) in Xenia, Ohio. The airfield is about 20 minutes from the main campus.

Students can transfer their credits to complete a bachelor’s degree through Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s worldwide campus.

Sinclair partners with PSA airlines to provide students with the opportunity to gain conditional jobs offers while still enrolled in school.

Students who complete the school’s associate or bachelor’s professional pilot program will be eligible for a R-ATP.

Value

Sinclair Community College offers affordable tuition for both in-state and out-of-state students. The average tuition for a student is approximately $5,200 a year. This is base tuition and does not include flight expenses.

In addition to tuition, flight students will be responsible for flight costs. Over the course of the program, fixed-wing students will be charged about $100,000 for flight instruction. Helicopter students will pay about $160,000.

Students can seek out scholarships to help mitigate the cost of school, including:

  • The Ohio First Scholarship for STEM Students
  • Women in Aviation Scholarships

Eligible students can also use veteran’s benefits to pay for school.

A Redbird FMX flight simulator is also available for student use.

Campus Life

Arts and culture are a large part of the school’s identity. Every year, it hosts a number of arts festivals and theatrical productions on campus.

More than 30 student clubs and organizations are available, which give students a great way to get involved. Clubs include:
