American Patrols was founded in 1987 and performs aerial inspection services for oil and gas companies in the Greater Permian Basin area in Texas.
Each day, its pilots patrol more than 500 facilities at low altitudes to inspect wells, pumps, gathering systems, batteries, water takeaway lines, and flow lines.
Its fleet of aircraft often feature red-painted tails as an homage to veterans, specifically to the Tuskegee Airmen of World War II.
